You must not realize just how much comfort and joy your love brings me already.

Even if I were being real damn self-important, I don't think I make up for ten millennia.

Well... I would be a liar if I said I didn't enjoy being tended to. You only need not be so concerned with how fair it may be.

I guess. ...I do like seeing you happy.

Aside from the occasional horrific trial set upon us here, I do spend a lot of my days here being happy. Largely due to you.

[ Just gazes at him for a long moment. ]

It's probably too weird to kiss you like this, isn't it.

[ It's going to be SO weird. But he kisses his decaying face already, so it's just a different flavour of weird.

... no it's still weirder. ]

[I MEAN OK... he looks unsure as he leans in]

[ He moves his cute breakfast aside and leans in, closing his eyes. And when he presses his lips to him, the difference, the weirdness, is immediately apparent.

For one, his (which his? yes) lips are softer. It doesn't so much feel like he's kissing himself, when he isn't looking himself in the eye, but it feels like he's kissing someone else and that someone else, he unfortunately knows, is his own face. At least at first. It's only been a hot second. ]

[On Kaine's end, he's kissing anyone different, but - he's not using his own mouth to do it. It's like puppeting a mouth that he's unused to. This alien tongue, these teeth-- POINTY teeth! What kind of fresh disassociation is this

The kiss only lasts a beat before he pulls away, trying not to cringe and failing.]

Kaine's reaction is, at least, enough to stifle the weirdness enough for him to chuckle. ]

Changing into someone who's not here should be possible, right? I just-- can't figure it out.

[ ... oh. He's a clone. Surely his face is exactly the same as his brother's?? That must be what he's getting at. ]

You wouldn't happen to have a photograph of him, would you?

Why would I keep a photograph of him.

My darling, it would not surprise me to hear you say "I have a photograph of him, and I sometimes brood over it, or throw knives at it, and sometimes both at once."

...Okay, I deserved that.

[ He's going to continue eating his breakfast now. ]

My other thought is that perhaps you'd have to buy that specific power as well. It does seem like the "next level".
