I never officially signed my name to Wilbur's resistance because I had concerns that this could happen.

However, there's no saying that playing along any further would have been any better. Rather, it could easily have been much worse.

I still believe that we could find a way to unlock the power behind this place ourselves, at the very least.

it's not like i have that many to start with
who knows if unlocking more shapeshifting powers will even stay with me outside this place

[With a grin, Kaine squeezes his hand and leads him to the clocktower - and through the door, to the lush greenhouse inside. Hopefully now night appropriate for gargoyles.]

...Guess this might be the bunny kid's home? It makes sense if he-- and 'Shelley-san' - used to be the original residents of this world.

[Let us take a stroll through the flowers,]

[ Every so often he's going to pause to make them both look at a flower ok. ]

What I expected to be in here was far worse, anyhow.

[ Ok time to put the papers away and settle back next to him. Maybe a little against him.

It's relieving that this place exists now. Where we can be reasonably certain that the warden cannot see us.
