[YOU BET YOUR ASS TSUCHI DOESN'T HAVE A KITCHEN... anyways, Kaine is indeed at the diner, masked up and brewing a fresh cup of coffee.]

[The coffee's for ME. For STAYING UP AT NIGHT. Kaine pulls out a bowl for Lotor though - a yogurt parfait with oats, sliced berries, mint leaves, a bit of drizzled honey over greek yogurt and chia seeds.]

I'm rapidly running out of food I can make without having to cook it, but... have at it.

Anyway. He takes the bowl in both hands and admires it for a moment before sitting down nearby. ]

It's all over once I have to apply heat to the food. The one upside to this diner is the place is stocked with good quality ingredients.

[Sits next to and takes off his mask to drink his coffee--]

[ He's pausing with the first spoonful in his mouth, another compliment on his tongue.

Studying him. His own face. Casually, but also intently. Making sure it's him behind that face first before offering: ]

Well, seeing how my idea failed so spectacularly, I might as well try one of yours. I had the tokens.

[ Leans onto a hand. ]

And how does it feel?

Weird? The ache's gone, but I don't recognize myself. I feel fake.

[ Hmmm. He takes another bite, thinking. ]

A sense of identity is important for anyone, and I imagine it's tenuous with you at times already.

Really thought I'd enjoy being pretty more than this.

I may have been cloned from Peter's DNA, but Spider-cide was cloned from my DNA. His molecular structure is so unstable, he can shapeshift - change density, even turn to liquid.

And what did he do with his new faces?

[ Well. Kaine's got a face capable of that then. No problem. ]

I was going to offer that you've only had my face for mere ticks, and that of course you'd be underwhelmed just by sitting around in it, but perhaps we should not take inspiration on what to do next from your clone.

I'm open to ideas. Ideally, nowhere with too many mirrors.

It's too bad that I'm already charmed by you.

[ Waves his spoon. Because of this, not because he thinks his own face is hot. ]

It's amazing that even though I'm well versed in my own face, I can see you behind it in the little things. [ The coffee. ] It makes it far less strange.

[ At least for now. He's also trying to be sensitive here.

He's holding out his free hand towards Kaine's (Lotor's). ]

[You know, that strangely does make him feel a little better. Knowing he still comes through as himself.]

I'll be sure to look extra cranky. As a personal touch.
